Nice cool weather helped to produce some xtra hp but damn was the track slippery.* Lots of EVO's.* Mitsubishi corporate came out to test/photo shoot the Eclispe they had Mueller/RRC set-up.* AUTOMOBILE magazine was there as well.

* We had the race EVO out to break in a new motor.* Suppose to be breaking it in, you know, keeping the rev's below 4-5000 rpm which we did.* That lasted about 2 sessions till we hammered out a 1:22.6!!

* I figure that if if we actually put some fresh 305's(we ran some used tires cuz we were supposed to bejust* breakin it in) and the track temp was a bit warmer we might crank out 1:19's.* I know, I know, don't count your chickens....

* Thanks to the crew for busting your asses getting shit ready in time.* Thanks JR and Orlando for coming out and crewing, it was nice seeing you guys.

even the time of 1:22 is amazing with the EVO, i wish i could have made it out to this event, maybe next time O0

A great time yesterday! It was fun thouroughly hammering my nearly new Advans! I think all the mold release is off of them now...
Anyhow, a good time courtesy of the SpeedVentures guys. I really enjoy their events, albeit it's only my second one with them. If I could only get to the track more often.

This friday I got it to 1:29.949... the car probably has a second or so more in it but traction wasn't there, I felt like it was a combination of Speedventures with D1GP ;)

Did anyone take some pix by any chance?

I was able to turn a 1:28 before the crash...I didn't see my times from the last session, but I don't think I broke into the 1:27's....
