What to do aroud San Jose?

Just wonderin wots to do around this area if anything? Im stayin on North 1st st, got a nice view of the roadways and thats probably about as interesting as my evenings are apart from sitting google-eyed in front of the laptop :uglystupid2: Hehe
I aint got a rental car yet (savin it to get to the D1 next week) so open to any suggestions any locals have... O0
