well after a few weeks of waiting, i finally got my package. the delivery guy showed up and we were pulling the box outta the van and i couldnt help but think ....'man thats a huge box for a front lip'. get it in the garage, sign my name, and cut the box open. well to my amazement, i lift the top up and see this giant bubblewrap covered hood. im thinkin ....'hmmm THAT is not a front lip.'

email the company, they call me back and tell me that the guy the hood was supposed to go to, got my lip. so now were workin out the exchange. supposedly the shipping company is gonna call me, but i havent heard from them yet. called again yesterday, so hopefully the damn shipping company calls me today. but yah, thought id share it with ya.

i had a cf hood for a week. YES. :buck2: (btw, nothing against those with cf hoods. just not my taste.)

dunno ...i think the hoods like 500 or somethin around there. my lip was 400 w/shipping.

you should have kept the hood...sold the hood...bought a front lip...and keep the profit and bnuy more parts

nope ...cf hoods not my thing. it wouldnt be TOO bad if my evo was GG or TB ...but im white. so def no. plus i like the stock look.

as for keeping the hood, selling the hood, buying a lip, and buying more ....the guy who the hood was supposed to go to, got my lip. so im sure he was a little miffed. i had thought about it, cuz i didnt hear from them for a little bit, then they finally called me. both time they said theyd call back ...WRONG. im about ready to find this guys number and just deal directly with him.

people usually get the lip for around $400 and he could have sold the hood for at best maybe $600....do it!!! money for a d/p!

was it an evo hood? i would of kept it anyways if it wasnt.. sell it.. and buy the lip. if it profited

MOTHERF#%&. the guy the hood was supposed to go to now says he didnt order it or somethin. so i called the company almost 2weeks ago to get them to work it out with the shipping company. do they? no. just got called back and asked what i wanted to do with it. so i may have it shipped back up here and just dump it off. goddamnit. im never buying anything from this company again. :tickedoff:

yah goose, pics are long gone.

as for the hood... i gave it back to BAX so they could ship it down to san antonio or wherever the fk it was supposed to go. they shipped me my lip. got it. installed it. fitment was crap. lol

anyways, the guy said it was the wrong hood and BAX wanted me to resolve it. they thought I was the company that was shipping this or something. so i told them i wasnt and THAT hood was shipped to me on accident. so i have no idea what his order even was, and they should resolve it with the company. they said that they didnt do that, and that theyd try to find out what the guy was supposed to get and if they didnt hear back from the company then theyd end up crushing the fkn thing. never heard back from them. so either they worked it out... or it was a casuality of war. lol
