I got pulled over by a cock munching traffic cop in garbbage grove and he gave me a ticket for my BOV and air intake. the carb sticker for the injen intake system is still pending. I find it hard to believe that a bov is illegal. what a joke!

technically, a boV is illegal. Stay away from Garden Grove and HB, especially the former. They got lotsa problems with racing...

bov's are illegal weather they are making noise or not..the cop dont know...they will give the ticket because it doesnt look stock and it all colorful. They cant tell if it recirculated or atmospheric, they dont know what noise on your car comes from what....and they dont care, you will have to prove them wrong in court. Thats why jdm mr valve is best, holds alot of boost and will not get you the ticket..or go tomei vavle like i have..its the jdm mr valve with forged internals for extra security. ;)

I found a contact for carb so i will have the answer tomorrow. i am also filing a complaint to the police department for being profile if I beat the rap. :police: r :outofcloset:

sucks they were asses...but we all have to watch out for cops nowadays...the second you add an open element filter, even the stock bov will sound off.

Only thing that sucks about that carb# is that its only good for the 2004's. If you dont have a 2004 model, then ur assed out and will fail.

Well folks I went to the ho house i mean court house to file my trail by declaration.

just an FYI the bail was $409* :-o

if I win the case the money will be refunded to me in 6-8 weeks* :tickedoff:

it's funny how they get the money up front and you have to fight to get it back :tickedoff:

if i lose the case I don't have to go to a referee they just get the money.* :'(

at least i don't have to take off any parts that would cost a lot more.* :D* so I will keep you all posted on what happens next
