A1GP (Yes, A1GP not D1GP)

A1GP is now airing in the US. For those of you who don't know what A1GP is, it's considered the World Cup of Racing. Countries race spec-formula cars (600kg, ~570bhp) against each other. Last week's race (tape delayed for us) at Estoril, Portugal was very good racing to watch. The drivers have a boost button that they can use 8 times during the main event so it makes overtaking attempts very common.

Check it out today at 3:00pm on Outdoor Life Network. They're showing round 5 from Sepang, Malaysia.

It's kind of like F1 Lite - lots of former F1 guys that just didn't quite make it, but the talent is high and the racing is tight. It is a much better measure of driver skill than F1, where the cars end up making a big difference.
