Well to try and answer your question...

dumping = clutch in + rev up + let go of the clutch pedal in one fast motion. Very hard on the car, generally not a good idea. Newbie manual drivers do this alot. REALLY not a good idea for the evo.

slipping = clutch in + rev up + ease off the clutch pedal at or around finding the friction point like during a launch or to induce a drift on a RWD car. Tough on the clutch, but you won't hurt the tranny/diffs as much.

Did I miss anything?

Whatever you do, don;t dump your clutch. Dumping the clutch is a great way to blow your gears. SLipping the clutch is easier on the tranny and you can still pull great times with a lot of pracrtice.

I think I got this covered.... "Dumpin the Clutch" is win you take the motor up to 7 grand and let the clutch pop out. Slippin the clutch is a result of Dumpin the clutch at 7 grand.Â* :uglystupid2:

none is good . dumping the clutch is like reving up and moving ur foot and letting the pedal jump at u which destroys ur tranny
