HOW TO: Spell TUNING the Right Way!

This is for those that have trouble spelling the word that describes calibrating something to fuction a certain way. This word may sound like "tooning", but like many english words is a homonym. Althought it sounds a certain way, it may not necessarily be spelled the same as its homonym friends. This word is spelled like so:

TUNING

* not "tunning", "tooning", "tuneing" or any other word that's not "TUNING".


Hopefully this FAQ will help forum users across the world to properly spell tuning.

tunning is a real word, so it probably wouldnt catch that. Spell check is something i've put as one of our goals for future updates.

No to hijack this thread but people also mistake "lose" vs "loose". *Lose means to be missing, or misplaced or the the opposite of "win". *"Loose" means something is not tight.

Incorrect: *I am "loosing" boost when I am WOT
Correct: *I am "losing" boost when I am WOT.

The 'to' or 'too' bugs me a lot.

to= towards or at. Part of an infinitive verb.
too= also, in addition to, as well. As 'I want to go to the meet too'.

To further complicate things these words are all pronounced the same; to, too, two. On the other hand one wears a tutu. Not me though. How about the two of you go to the TuTu show to see two TuTus, and Fred can go too. :idiot2: :idiot2: :idiot2:
