i wonder how this car would fight up against the 1000hp bugatti

actually the enzo lost to the koenigsegg, and the konenigsegg lost to the veyron. now the veyron looses to this.

also the vetron has 987 (or so) SAE hp, this has 1046. and probably alot better drag coefficient

I wonder how long until we see a 300 mph crash.
I'd imagine the car would probably lift up into the air spin, and then disintegrate upon it's return to earth.

remember the enzo crash. that was a little over 150mph, you're talking 2x that speed

also it is probable that the enzo was airborne before ending in its final position, because the aerodynamics that keep the enzo sucked (literally) to the road won't work if the car is sufficiently off the ground. also a lack of tiremarks before the final positions indicated that the car was not in contact with the road prior to the crash

its yet to make production. its an ssc ultimate aero. additionally in order to claim the top speed record it will need to actaully hit that speed on a road or track. it wouldnt be the first car that had the potential that failed to perform. additionally its just a supercharged corvette engine. lingenfelter has done 250+ in twin turbo corvettes, so its not exactly ground breaking.

p.s. the enzo was never the fastest accelerating car or the car with the highest top speed. the mclaren f1 still held the record until the koenigsegg came along.
