Hmm, after reading what TerryS wrote, I went to look up centipedes. Yup its one of them!

http://www.richard-seaman.com/Wallpaper/Nature/Horrors/HouseCentipede.jpg

Centipedes are common arthropods with long, flattened, segmented bodies with one pair of legs per segment. The house centipede is up to 1 1/2 inches long and has 15 pairs of very long, almost thread-like, slender legs. Each leg is encircled by dark and white bands. The body is brown to grayish-yellow and has three dark stripes on top.

Though house centipedes are found both indoors and outdoors it is the occasional one on the bathroom or bedroom wall, or the one accidentally trapped in the bathtub, sink, or lavatory that causes the most concern. However, these locations are not where they normally originate. Centipedes prefer to live in damp portions of basements, closets, bathrooms, unexcavated areas under the house and beneath the bark of firewood stored indoors. They do not come up through the drain pipes.

House centipedes feed on small insects, insect larvae, and on spiders. Thus they are beneficial, though most homeowners take a different point-of-view and consider them a nuisance. Technically, the house centipede could bite, but it is considered harmless to people.

House centipede control consists of drying up and cleaning, as much as possible, the areas that serve as habitat and food source for centipedes. Residual insecticides can be applied to usual hiding places such as crawl spaces, dark corners in basements, baseboard cracks and crevices, openings in concrete slabs, under shelves, around stored boxes, and so forth. For more information on insecticides please see "Insecticides for Indoor Use." Centipedes discovered outdoors should not be controlled.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_centipede

"The house centipede is capable of biting a human, but this seldom occurs. When it does, it is no worse than a minor bee sting. However, it can cause health problems for those allergic to its venom. The worst one can expect from a house centipede's bite is some pain and a slight swelling at the location of the bite, but the symptoms usually disappear within a few hours."

You call that minor?? :-o ....

I hate my work, first a black widow, then this... im praying theres not going to be a scorpion or a snake soon.

Nah, they've just evolved to have those antenae on the ass end like that to confuse predators.

Thats awesome you figured it out Murmasa. O0 Any of those indoor bug sprays should kill it. I prefer the Bayer brand stuff since they are the OG bug spray company. O0

FYI TerryS is correct. It is a centipede, slightly poisonous but as a previous post says, not a big deal unless you're allergic to its poison, which is very highly unlikely.
It's cool. Wish you could mail it to me but the postal service frowns on such things in the mail..\ Bill

so, I felt like saying it. So you wanna make something of it? Wanna take it to the curb? My dad can beat up your dad!* *Actually I'm killing time here in the warm house and I don't want to go out into the cold garage(40 degrees) and help my wife with her car. Did that sound like I really meant it?* I'd rather go to a meet somewhere. I'd probably fall off the curb and twist my ankle anyway.* * * * * * * * * *:crazy2: :idiot2: :2funny:* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Bill
