My wife is an accountant so I don't often pay attention to money in/money out. (Except when I'm spending it). Today I just found out I'm paying $621/month for my MR @ a rate of 6.75%.

So I'm like WTH? My GSR only cost 330 PLUS it was at 3.2%! :tickedoff:

The worse part was I actually owe close to what I originally paid for the car (damn compound interest)!

So anyway, I sold the car to my wife in order to get a better APR. (If I'd re-fi'd it myself it would have been higher) So now I'm down to 590 @ a rate of 5.75%.

:idiot2: so whoopti-freekin-do I save 30 bucks a month. I guess that's like a free tank of gas....every once in a while.

Actually it's still in my name.
But now technically it's in "OUR" name.

And since you live in California, which half of the car is yours and which is hers?

No.
Since I live in CA, it's all hers, plus the house, plus my other two cars.
I'd be lucky if I got to keep the floor mats.

Hmmm...maybe I should move to Texas?

Or Idaho. They dont make an effort to enforce out of state divorce settlements. O0

And dont forget, in community property states, your entitled to half of everything so dont settle for less than half. :knuppel2:

since you only drive the car ~200 miles/month, you're saving tons of money/month/mile ;)

Jason is married to an asian girl! There's no such thing as a pre nup when it comes to asian females. "Whats his is mine and whats mine is mine..."

"Thinks"?

I'm just lucky it's too low, otherwise she'd be taking it to work.
It gets way better gas mileage then the 330.

Jason is PW.

When your wife decides to part out the MR, I got dibs on the APR wing.
