So me and Dylan are friends with a shop out here. Some of you may know of them. They are called Speed Machine Performance. And I am proud to say that they are some kickass friends to have. They invited me and Dylan out to phoenix to be apart of their team to race on the TV show pinks. To make a long story short N/A couldnt make it out there since he is a little bitch. So I made the drive with my buddy Dennis. It ended up that Speedmachine had to race Full Race and their civic. For those of you that live under a rock Full Race is no punk bitch. These guys are the shit. I personally would give my left testicle to own one of their manifolds.
Here is basically what happened in picture order. And yes there are pics of the motor compartment too.

On our way out to speedworld in the city of SUPRISE

Speed Machine brought out the Drag FC. Engine work was done by Dave (for those of you who dont know who dave is. He built falkons FD engine) Driving will be done by Matt.

Full race put together a wicked sweet Civic Sohc. This is no bitchass car. especially considering that this car is running 30psi of boost and putting down over 440 whp. The interior is gutted, I mean they saved weight every spot they could.

In the end it was Speed Machine that took home the gold, or in this case the car.
did I forget to mention that they were only running 12.7 psi of boost.
I guess that why Falkon trusts dave to work on this

The first race was heads up with Full race having NOS (speed machine doesnt run nos) Speed machine lost by 5 lengths after a bad launch by Matt.
After some negotiation we got 3 car lengths and had them remove the NOS and raced again, after another rough launch we won by about 3 lengths, but felt that Full race had sandbaged.
The next race was heads up again with Full Race not having any NOS. Speed Machine won by about 5 lengths.
More negotiation concluded that Full Race got the NOS back and 3 lengths. After a amazing launch Matt destroyed Full race to win the car.

I will let you all know in adavance when it will air on the speed channel. And hopefully one of yall smart people can even find a way to copy the episode.

um, i wouldnt get all wet over full race.

why dont you ask "the closer" how his 6 week turbo install went? well, he bought the full race 3076R kit, and it fit wonderfully
and also ask how long he waited for the parts to come in.

now you may question the people that installed it. for reference it took them 1 day to install my HKS full GT upgrade. 1 day, as opposed to 6 weeks - you do the math

well that sucks.
regardless they make an outstanding exhaust manifold. We were running their shit over in okinawa on our sr20's. When every one elses tubular manifolds were cracking we never had an issue with full race's.
I dont know what to say about the closers install, Tough deal.

As far as the manifold, it was a beautiful piece and I had no issues with the closer's exhaust manifold.

It was EVERYTHING ELSE.

DP didn't fit like it should. Had to get it cut in two pieces (and two flanges welded on) in order to get some simplicity to installing it. Front O2 bung was too low for installation. Had to get a bung welded higher to fit.

Wastegate dump tube had to be extended so it wouldn't dump hot exhaust gas on the lower intercooler pipe. No matter how you rotated the damned thing, that was the only thing that could be done.

There were more issues but I'd rather have the closer explain it further..
