How To: De-Bling your exhaust

[Skiracer]

1. Remove shiny aftermarket muffler.
2. Cut off big ass 5" exhaust tip using a circular saw.
3. Chug a beer while watching the muffler shop doing step #2 knowing your $900 AVO catback is getting hacked.
4. Find a scrap piece of 3" pipe on the floor and weld it onto muffler.
5. Paint muffler and 3" pipe with high temperature black paint.
6. Reinstall muffler.
7. Admire your now stocker than stock looking exhaust.

or i could just get the rre one and then paint the whole muffler flat black before the install....

Comon the car looks no different from the rear with that big ass wing on there. If you want be lost in the crowd get rid of the stock park bench.

i dunno if i could spend 900 on a catback only to have someone modify it. but it does look pretty 'normal'. did you just paint the muffler or the whole catback?

The catback came from my old car and i only painted the muffler section.
