tire wear at track

so im going tommorrow to streets of willow, i have some pretty new azenis 615,
how bad do you think they'll end up by the end of the day?

im trying to get some semi used advans just so i can have fun with them but im not sure if i can get them in time. also any advice on tire pressure at the track if i end up using the azenis?

You'll be fine. As far as tire pressure goes, start way lower than you think is necessary. The tires will get hot while your on the track. I shoot for about 40 some-odd psi hot. Just feel it out. If you dont get enough traction, usually the cause is over inflated tires due to heat, not cuz your not running more expensive tires. Have fun.

depending on what configuration and set up on the car.. your best bet would be to start at 36psi (cold) , due a couple of laps then adjust to have a max of 40 psi (hot) all around ..
the wear on the tires will be up too how aggressive you are with the car...

When I had those tires at the track, the advice given to me was 36 hot....I ran those same tires 34 cold all around on the street

and how were they at the track?, mine are 255/40/17
