This post had just as much to do with Evos as half the questions in General. But if you just have to move the thread why did it get moved to Off-Topic Archives? The last post that got a responce in that forum was August 15th 2005??!! No one ever looks there. Thanks alot.

Little confused here.

That's my bad.
I meant to move it to Off Topic.

My mouse must have slipped.

Found these pics on EvoM. Says Huntington Beach - Malibu July 2003. This is a great photo op. If anyone knows where this is please let me know.

LOL, well if it just HAS to be moved then can it atleast be moved somewhere where it might have a chance of being seen. Although I don't really think it's an off topic post, but it's your world boss.

thats for sure off piuma towards the top of the hill by the turn outs that you can see malibu canyon...
its easy to find if you take malibu canyon to piuma cause you can find the writing on the ground.

well I should rephrase that. don't go there on weekends if your evo has tint, has a modified exhaust, if you're not running both your plates or anything else that's potentially less-than-legal. or, of course, if you're going to drive "enthusiastically". cops are up there each weekend with a throbbing itch to pull guys like us over for the slightest infraction, just to swipe our licenses and put our names in a database of "known canyon racers". some of you may have heard of this task force... well it's still in effect. I was just up there for a liesurely drive a couple weekends ago, actually driving under the speed limit, and it happened to me, as well as a grip of other cars that "fit the profile".

go at your own risk. or, find new places to enjoy your car on the weekends. there are plenty of other world class roads in socal, trust me.

going up there on a saturday or sunday afternoon is worthless anyway...
i drive it to work regularly when malibu is backed up and there is usually no one else going up....
theres also a very attractive blonde girl with a white evo that takes it to malibu often if anyone knows who that is, i assume she lives up there and would know more about the task force
