ok, i got this ticket

and i still havent fix it.

its for no front license plate. my due date is on March 21 and i couldnt find my second license plate, so im ordering new ones from the DMV. but they said it would take 4-6 weeks.

can i ask for an extension on my ticket? or what are the consequences if i dont fix it on the due date?

you should be able to obtain a 60 day extension, call the # provided from the court. Enter your citation # and listen to the different options the system gives you.

thats right and if you have anything on the plates you ordered that should serve it purpose too saying that you havent gotten it yet

Maybe dmv policy has changed, but the last time I needed a new set of license plates because of a ticket I walked into a dmv with my one license plate off my car and they gave me a new set of plates the same day. Of course the number would be different though. Are you trying to retain your same license plate number?
