Smog check station on Colima just west of Azuza!! careful!!

bump. FYI you can deny the inspection. You can just BS them that you're late for work or something and they will write you a citation to see a referee

okay so i've never heard of or seen one of these. so they just stop you there on the road and perform a smog check on your vehicle? that sucks.

IIt's a smog machine on wheels but it's setup like a drunk check point

Stationary!

There are 2 lines, they took up the one to the right.

CHP stands in the front, points to which ever car he feels need a smog check, then the car pulls up to smog check guy which then he decides to give you a check or not. If he think you need one then you pull up to the station and do the test.

That's the whole idea. you never know where they will be from day to day.

Wow the extent cops go to.. Ironically, this is exactly where I got pulled over for my exhaust back in October. The cop was going east on Colima while I was going west about to turn onto Azusa. He actually made a u-turn in the middle of the road to get me.. :roll:
