hey man. *that's where i run mine right now. *however, i've been told that it's best to run the EGT wiring as far away from the spark plug/coils as possible to ensure the most stable EGT readings (avoiding EMI). *i experience spiking once in a while where it spikes to 1200. *i know it's not a true reading. *makes me wonder if my EGT temps are off by a little all the time or just at that instant when it hits 1200. *
i've seen or heard of a lot of ppl running where we both run our lines and no place else...

Is there anyway to put some extra shielding on the line?

wrap it in a coaxial cable sheath. those are inpenetrable by EMI, or so physics says. just make sure it wont melt with underhood temps

My line runs through my coil on plug system along with a few other wires and I have never had a spike or innacurate reading. May depend on what brand EGT you are using. I believe my egt line(defi) comes shielded.

Mine came wrapped in a stainless steel mesh sheath....no RF can get thru!
