View Full Version : Whats with the connectivity to SoCalEvo.net?

So how come SoCal's been slow as hell lately (since last fridayish)? That and starting today I randomly get "SoCalEvo.net is down. Please try back later" messages (not verbatim but similar to that). Hell I got that screen when I tried to post this earlier.

I get that and aslo that my session has been timed out try again? Hell it sucks for me more cuz I have dial up at home.

Looking through the logs today... I found something very interesting that caused the slowdown. Apparently... someone or thing is trying to exploit our OLD phpBB site at http://archive.socalevo.net

So I have shut that site down for now.

Ok, now this site is hauling balls. Here's the error I was getting for a while:

Right now though, the site is going faster than any other website I can goto....

Goku's post count was compromising the integrity of the server so we had to reset him to 0. :)
