I had a good night at palmdale (lacr) this evening. I made 3 passes. Here is how the slip reads
reaction .003
I1 1.656
I2 4.974
I3 7.749
I4 10.077
E.T. 12.154
MPH 111.567

My car is an 05' with the following mods: tbe, hks cams 264/272, walbro fuel pump, dejon boost controller, xede, exedy twin, zeitronix data logger, with my 255/40/17 M&S toyo proxie 4's. My runs were on race gas and the boost spiked to 26.1. Runs 2 and 3 were 12.2's at 111 with peak boost at 24 urghhhhh.

Huge props go out to Alfred at Tuning Technologies for the great install work and service your shop has done on my car. And of course for the great tune and customer service you have given me. A little more tuning to be done and this car runs an 11 at palmdale.

Agreed- thats some killer numbers ... Especially the 60ft and the trap ... Thats pretty much on point!

What did you go up against? Got the timeslip ?

Thanks for props, I do have time slips, my runs where against a right hand drive civic (noise maker), a wrx with upgraded turbo kit, and a IX rs. I will scan slips and get them posted.

Hey, that is impossible. Everyone knows that the Xede is just marketing hype and that dyno tuning is far inferior to road tuning.* ;) How can this be?

Great driving Tad! Didn't you do 12.2 at 114.5 at Las Vegas Speedway?

Unable to post slips in a gallery, I have read the instructions and it is not working, any help would be great or I can email it to somebody.
Thanks Tom the car is running very well. My car did see 12.2 at 114 in vegas on a night I felt it was running just ok, not great.

If that was a white IX RS, I think it was my buddy Joe that owns the local muffler shop.

I have the rally cat from rre which performs like a test pipe.

Hey I saw you out there. I was the guy askin what you had in the car. Yeah man your car is fast shut all my friends up who say evo's are slow. Hopefull I can hit times like that one day. How much power did your car dyno, oh and how do you launch that thing to pull those 60fts. Oh and I can vouch for his times.

thanks guys, My car has been tuned by alfred at Tuning Technologies and it did 375hp/380tq at 29psi. The problem with palmdale is my car spikes at 26.1 and then tappers off, that was my best run. The other 2 runs the car spiked to 24 and then tappered off. The runs were on race gas of course. My launch.....My rev limiter is disconnected, I rev to 6500ish pure feel or sound, with the clutch completely in I let it out just a hair to lift the car and it moves just a bit then wham off the clutch we go. My 60's that night were some of my best, I usually hit low 1.7 all day that night 3 runs my worst launch was 1.70. I thought the track was good but the 12 second s4's out there said it was a slow night compared to last week??? Egt's reached a max of 1533, shifts are done around 7300 as I have the stock fuel cut around 7400. Car is a SSL.

Badass times!

Getting that good launch was the key to the fast 1/4 mile.

Any planned upgrades?

Thanks, I would like to run a few 11's the way the car sits, then I am going to add an intercooler, piping, small battery etc.... see if there is any gains to be had there. I have been told I could gain 10hp with a good setup???

Why don't you come out to Willow Spings or one of the other local road courses. You can get about 2 1/2 hours of trake time in a day, instead of running a race that lasts all of 12 seconds. And you to go around turns too. O0

That's kinda what I was thinking too. They are some serious times there bro, for the amount of work you have done.

those times are uncorrected if somebody can tell me how to post my slips I will do it, I can also email them to one of you to post if its easier. As far as road course, I would love to and one of these days I will for sure come out.

Those times are close to what I got at Fontana last year with a strong head wind.

Seems like you could have been even faster. Maybe better shifting?

nice number. for what mods you have, now that's freaking fast. that mean you should be able to run 11.6 at sea level. by the way what gas did you use ? 101 or C16 ?

You have to turn to get off the drap strip and onto the return troad to the pits.* If you get 10 or 15 runs, that is quite a bit of turning!
