figured id share this with everyone ....it gave me a good laugh today.

so 1130 rolls around and i decide to go for a spin before the neighbors start the bbq. so im going up 33 toward ojai at about 68mph. i notice the front of a bmw a ways back. he spent prolly 3-4min slowly coming up on me then out of nowhere, the douchebag flies past and the passenger was looking/laughing it looked like. then they slow back down to what they were going and continued on.

......

10min goes by and im on casitas vistas road that meets up with 150. theyre on the side of the road just sitting there. i went by doing the speed limit (45) and get on 150 shortly after. i see them pull out onto 150 behind me and they stayed there for awhile. i was doing just under 60 until the first tight turns hit. anyways, on one of the straits before the tight turns, they come flying up behind me and pass .....again.

....this is where it gets really funny.....

mind you, i have not sped up or enticed this guy in anyway. im not too big on street racing. anyways ...as hes passing and his back wheels are just past my front bumper he shifts ....and i hear this really AWFUL grinding/clunking sound. almost like he missed a gear and dropped it into a lower gear or something.

....then

the smell. that HORRIBLE clutch smell. when i go for drives like that, i crack at least the back 2 windows to help circulate air. i had all 4 windows cracked and i could smell the clutch for prolly 1/4mile. about 10min later they pulled off to the side suddenly ...and i just continued on my way cruising in 5th at about 55. just laughing at their stupid asses.

just thought id share the laugh with you.

It would have been funny if you had an extra AAA sticker and threw that at him.

But too few people actually carry those around.
