i thought i'd start an R/C thread here since we might start bringing our r/c's to our meets!

i used to really be into this hobby. haha i even started an R/C club back in high school. so yeah... i think bringing are r/c's to the 626 meets will make them more interesting and should be fun too.

to start things off i'll post some info about what i have...

Tamiya Stadium Blitzer. Its really old and my very first R/C. No mods.

HPI Nitro RS4. Almost just as old. Mods as i can recall:

HPI Tuned Muffler
2-Speed Tranny
Full Bearings Throughout

i used to be really into this hobby too... i had

RC10 buggy, pretty much stock
RC10 T2, upgraded motor and 7 cell pack
Traxxas Nitro Hawk.... stock, i never took care of the engine so it died on me and i sold it

i just picked up a Traxxas Revo 3.3 monster truck last week.... broke it in and am begining to tune it.... awesome truck, not too good on the street cuz it has a HUGE amount of body roll and likes to flip over when cornering hard...

im down to bring it to the meets tho and run your RS4 over jay.... :2funny:

I have 4 R/C cars and 2 work perfect, 1 might one, and and the other starts but doesnt move due to fked up gears. I used to race r/c cars at the local hobby shops and have been to a couple tracks with them but then the evo came and took up all the money. I would be down for a R/C car meet one day. pics below

1. T-maxx (gas) this is my fked up r/c car but its my fault. the gears don't work so it won't move, i upgraded the pipe on it and suspension because i broke the suspension jumping it off a building..it was cool though

2. HPI Sport (electric-red- not sure thats the name its pretty old) this is my first r/c car. upgraded suspension, motor, speed controller

3. Team Losi XXX Sport (electric-blue) with upgraded motor and speed controller and tires

4. Team Losi XXX Sport (electric--black) all stock it was my dad's that he used to race me for fun.

Well first off this is my first post, I'd just like to say HI to all of you I don't have an Evo. I HAD an 05 Cobalt SS till there was a mechanical problem with the car and it made we swurve into a pole at 55mph the car was completely totalled and my leg got busted up, so now that I'm getting a bit of insurance money I'm going to upgrade to a Blue EVO 9 I'm probably going to buy it in about 4-6 months when I can start walking again. Anyway long story short I have an HPI Nitro MT with tons of upgrades I wouldn't mind hanging with a few people who love R/C cars and the best cars in the world (The EVO). Well maybe I'll see you guys all in a few months and I think it's a good idea to bring R/C cars we can even all go to the track for a meet some time I know of one that has a dirt and road course track for off-road and street R/C cars if you guys are interested in that. Trust, where did you get your Evo body from? I have a Traxxas T-Maxx 2.5 upgraded to a .26 fun to drive, but I break a lot of diffs. RC10 B3 Factory Team with a 9turn motor. HPI RS4 Pro2, needs an Evo body though.

That's pimp... I've been considering buying a tt-01 chassis and that evo 7 shell would probably fit on it...

Trust... What chassis are you running that evo7 shell on?

Anyway, I've had a few RCs... Right now I have an RC10T3 that's stock...

I also have a HPI RS4 micro with a M3 shell. I've been meaning to do a 540 conversion on... Right now, I think it has a penguin big block which has crap for low end coz I'm still using the 4cell alkyline battery pack.

And I have a M-03 chassis with a morris mini shell... It's got full BB, mataray diff, and is pretty quick for a FF car... Probably my favorite of the 3...

been thinking bout an evo bodied r/c for a while,still have the t-maxx with upgraded shocks,pipes and serio18 engine.
only problem is the tranny,i think its busted and have no time to fix it up.
those evo bodied r/c`s are cool, you guys runing electric huh?
will those evo bodies fit on the Yokomo drift r/c?they have a RTR drift package i think

yo!! wut up guys! i see ur all into r/c car and trucks i wanted to see if any of you would be interested in buyin my nitro truck....its a revo 2.5r (shorter wheel base than the 3.3) but i did the 3.3 motor swap and only ran 5 tanks of gas through it after break in! i still have the stock 2.5r motor ill throw in that was barely broken in before the swap, and the truck does come with a wingtote bag to carry eveything...if anyone is interested jus PM me with an offer....cash or parts....FMIC,Defi ga. , etc....i dunno...lemme know whats up!!

yo ernie monster truck and truggys and buggys motors are cheap far as price.
if you want i can help you build that T-MAXX for like a beast but it will cost you a little.


another thing you dont want to run Sirio motor they suck.
