I got this throught an email my bro sent me.

We all know how tight this administration is with all the Prince/Kings.* I think we law, tax paying citizen funded this project in Dubai. Over $3 dollars a gallon for the cheapest octane rating 87, so they can ski in the desert :-o

You can see the famous hotel in the background in the first pic.* The name escapes me right now.

i wouldn't doubt there making something like that. I know in Dubai they started making what is called "The World" out in the middle of the sea. Bringing thousand upon thousands of gallons of sand to replicate the World and building billion dollars houses on top of them.

Dubai doesn't export alot of oil. They're mainly investors. Very very very successful investors.

We could. If we didn't have laws & environmental groups outlawing such projects. Dont forget that labor is WAAAAY cheaper there too.

What's sad is that I was there a few months ago on deployment and imagine almost 2000 marines and 900 plus navy contributing to the profits of these quote unquote successful investors. LOL

Can you imagine how much money they make every time a Navy vessel pulls into port? They'll gouge you in prices and there are a lot of people crazy enough to pay those prices...
