That thing looks awesome! If the production version actually looks like that mitsu will have a winner for sure. I love the X front end.

looks kinda mean and stuff ... but doesnt work for me.* *I also dont like mini vans hehe
You guys have to understand this is all apart of marketing. Almost all other manufacturers have a wagon/sportsback type vechicle so Mitsu needs to compete as well.

Maybe Mitsu felt intimidated by the new Dodge Caliber, so they drew this up to compete :2funny:

It looks pretty mean... I think that looks better than the sedan... As long as the production model closely resembles the concept... What would be nice is a more traditional wagon like the current JDM evo wagon... I think that would be something pimp for the wife....

as long as the performance is still hard to beat for the price, then i won't mind the new "strange" design of the evo

Or maybe they are sharing the SRT-4 Body Design just as they did with the engine...Is mitsu just giving up?
I mean come on, if the 4 door Evo has made it through 14 years...why the change now?

Doesn't look bad, but I like the sedan much better.

I think the sportback needs to be a 2 door design and be call a "coupe" which is what they really need for the Evo line.

not feeling the hatch either. it looks like it could be the new lexus IS wagons.
=/
evey evo was 4 doors...does making a 2 door evo prove something?
isnt the engine bigger than 2.0 liters also...technically making it not a rally car since they require 2.0 liter engines (am i correct)?

I like the front.
But this looks like a cross between the Infinity SUV and the Calibur.* If they do release this, instead of EVO vs STI all you're going to see is this vs SRT calibur.

I'm not sure, if this is the same. . but i've read in a magazine called Road&Track .. and it featured a suburu Sti being made into a hatchback. . maybe that's why Mitsu is making this?

I bought my evo in spite of it being a four door.
Honestly, it having four doors and me being able to carry around my friends is the one thing I really dislike about my evo. Especially when you own the only four door car, so you always have to drive and your friends never pay for gas. >:(
Subaru at one time had 2-door STi's so I don't see why a car in this category has to be a sedan.
Not everyone has the requirement for a sedan, and a 2-door or 3-door Evo would fit perfectly into my life. :)

okay now, who is actually really going to drive a auto evo? thats rude, destroys the reason of having a evo.. i believe the evo was made for a reason with MT. but i guess.. anything could happen at anytime. anyways. whats your feed backs about this evoness...

I bought my Evo because it has four doors ( I also have a 2G Eclipse GS-T), the way it looks and the manual tranny. The suppposed new EVO X changes all my ideas of what an EVO is. I am not into it but waiting for the full specifications.
