ok help me fix adjust my headlights. they are jdm evo 8 mr headlights and they are driving me crazy. i cant see more than 10 feet ahead of me and i dont know what to do.. i buy lunch for whoever helps. thank you!

im located in chino so i guess inland empire would be my best bet. any takers? ive browsed through some of the threads on evom but most of it i found useless or impossible to understand. call me dumb :uglystupid2: but yeah i wish someone would just demonstrate what to do. im a much better visual learner

they are jdm evo 8 mr headlights with the hid projectors and i drive an 05 gsr w/ ssl.

are you sure your hid controls are not set to 4?.... make sure its at zero i think or 1...

I just went thru this after I got my car back from the shop. I have an 03 but I replaced my damaged headlights with 06 MR smoked ones.
I started adjusting with a 10mm. But for some reason i wasn't getting the results I wanted. I got frustrated so I ended up removing the front bumper and both headlights. I removed the gear mechanism that links the headlight to the hi-beam lights and I just adjusted them individually. It was a pain but I had no choice.
I found some helpful how-to's on EVOM. Search for "adjust headlights"
If your plastic gears are slipping then you may have to do what I did. Good luck.
