Pretty damn fast. Just curious what kind of times are the fast EVO's (Kent, etc) doing at WSIR? I know Mueller had done some work on another Crawford STi. Is this one of his too?

The Corvette driver inexplicably braked too hard going into Turn 1 on the last lap, so that the STi was carrying much more speed through the exit of Turn 1 when he made the pass -- I looked almost too easy.Â* 1:26.8 is damned fast for a modified street car.Â* I will assume that the good Dr. did not have a passenger in the car when he turned that lap.

I think Kent Jordan turns 1:27s in his race-prepped EVO at Big Willow.

The info provided on the link states it has 450hp(about the same as my Evo).

1:26.8 is real fast especially with temps in the mid 90's. Best I did earlier this year was 1:28.2 I think.

This is good motivation....

i thot that they changed the power adders too, but ambiguous wording owned me. in any case i'm super unbelieving that a 2.5liter powered gt35r is only making 450. that number should be at least 500 and they're running race fuel so i have a hard time believing they're not running more than 25psi like they state for many of their kits on their page.

it would make perfect sense in mustang dyno number but that would also put it at least 75 whp more than kent's car. which is what originally sparked my questioning.

Russ Warr can really wheel a car. He usually runs a HIGHLY tuned STi in NASA TT series, so he knows his Scooby's.
I had a chance to drive Terry's Z06 as well. He's pushing around 570hp running on Hoosiers. That car is mighty potent as well. Freaked me out a couple times coming onto the front straight at BW, with that honkin' V8 vibrating the whole interior at full song. Fast car. I'd still take a 911 though. ;)
