Here's a quick run down on the install of my apexi tt. It would help to become familiar with the Evo ECU pinout before beginning. RRE has been nice enough to host this on their website and it can be found here, ECU Pinout (http://www.roadraceengineering.com/evo/tech/EVO-ecuwiring.htm) The two pins we are concerned with is the Chassis Ground on pin 26 and the Front O2 Sensor on pin 76.

Click here for Pics and how to. (http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=75679)

First you have to take the glove box out.

Just take out the little clip on the left side of the glove box. Just slide it foward to pull it out. Then push out the other stop on the right side and drop the box all the way down and drop it out.

Next pull the bottom cover plate out foward.

Here is the ecu plugs. The ground goes on the first plug on the left and the o2 wire goes on the last plug on the right.

Here is where the ground connects. It is the very last black wire on the bottom right of the first connector.Â* You can use the pink quick connects for an easy install for these wires. Make sure that you clamp the metal piece all the way down for a good connection.

Next is the o2 voltage wire. It is the white wire located on the last connector. It is on the top row 6 pins in beginning with the first pin and counting to the right.

Here is where I mounted mine for easy viewing of afr's and o2 readings. I used double sided tape to mount it.Â* :D

i say you skip the ecu wiring. the turbo timer will still work and you get to keep your warrenty :)

I did not have to wire the ground all the way to the ECU, I found a bolt under the steering column and grounded it to there. I also didn't attach the O2 wiring because Scot Gray said it can give your ECU wrong readings.

What about that big harness with two big plugs on the end? And where do you stick the rest of the hardware?

take off the cover on your steering wheel column and you should see 2 plugs on the left side. take those off and connect the new ones. its pretty self explainatory ;)

harness should work for both..
take off the cover by removing the 3 screws on the bottom of the steering wheel column and take it apart.

something to watch out for. If you use the harness, when you are removing the lower panel to steering column. The bottom panel is quite difficult to get off so be careful. I broke something taking mine off.
