can you use the same wire harness extension you use with the afc, with the avcr?

Yes, the extension harness is simply an adapter piece that is an "extension" of the factory wiring.Â* You can cut it up and hack it any way you like and you still won't screw up the factory wires.

There are differences in wiring harness though between the Evo 8 and Evo 9 so watch out.Â* Plus if you have a Boomslang harness which is already preassembled for a certain product such as SAFC or Zietronix, you could still use it for an AVCR, but that would mean more hacking of the extension wiring harness.

+1 on what kimletrim said. the ecu harness is simply an extension that allows you to hack all you want without damaging the oem wires themselves.
