sup fellas (and ladies)

im new here, found link on allwheeljunkies.com

im drivin a pony right now, but im really interested in these evo's. my brother has a 2004 STi with some upgrades (DP, no cats, exhaust, Gredy BOF, upgraded short throw, and gettin suspension). but i am gonna be his rival one of these days :)

which first led me to Evo's. hehe I have been checkin' out the site and you guys seem pretty knowledgable :)

but before i do anything, i wanna turbo my pony just for the hell of it. know of any used turbo kits? im dont know too much about turbos, can one be put on a pony?? dumb question, but you know... heh..

PS: I live in vegas now, originally from Ventura area, so I hope im welcomed :D

if you got a gt I would go with a supercharger, its and easy bolton, and youlll gain like 50 horsepower or more. plus you can still add your turbo if you want

why invest money in a V6 Mustang Travis.
use the funds for your future evo and you will not regret it.
welcome also.

haha good point. i have the car until i graduate (2 more years) THEN i will put the money i earned into my car. i WOULD buy it now, but i dont wana buy a piece of sh%t and then have to rebuild it, so im waiting till i have more than enough funds to buy a worthwhile car. (v6 and old v8's is a driver's race

also.. im still debating between my friends 95 civic Si pushing mid 600 hp or getting myself a street legal car heh.

if i bought that car, i would buy a kia or something to just drive everyday

I agree the supercharger is pretty much bolt on... But really if you have a V6 mustang, you are probably better off selling it and buying a V8 and starting with that before a mod path. It will be far cheaper per HP, and all the parts that are with it are made for higher HP. Suspension, tranny, engine etc etc.

FYI My sister is selling her 1997 Mustang Cobra which is pretty fast, and she just had the engine rebuilt with better pistons, and crank, and for the performance its a good buy. I can't see why you couldn't sell the V6 Mustang and step up to that or another V8 like that.

Just for the sake of argument, your 210hp V6 after a $3k - $4k supercharger now makes 260-270hp. You could have bought that Cobra for about $7k or any other V8 mustang that puts out still more hp...and save up and put a supercharger on that and start working towards close to 400hp.

Or better yet.... Ditch the V6 mustang, and go Evo. Its faster than the Cobra anyway. :)
