hello all,

my name is jon. i actually dont have an evo, heres a little background. my brother and i both had 05 tacoma xrunners. our plan was to trade in on new evos. when it came down to it, i backed out. the triple priced insurance just didnt make it worth it. so, my brother got one, and i didnt. i am currently modding the hell out of it to keep up with my brothers stage one evo 9 mr, and so far ive been doing pretty good for a truck. ive got a bunch of crap s/c ect.....but to the good part. i dynoed it with my brother a few days ago....here is how he did

anyways, im still pretty sad about no evo. ill probably be around to poke my nose and learn as much as i can. if nothing else, help my brother mod up his evo.

also, did anyone go to LACR last wed? here is a video of my racing an yellow EVO 8. there was a few there that night......i got to run a few of them.........hoping to get at least a WTF was that out of one :-o

i wanted to have my brother ask, but i forgot. are you familiar with the split second software? i am using that for engine managment and dont like driving 3 hours for a tune. :idiot2:

I was there .. black evo pulling 13.4's .. the yellow evo has owned the car for 5 hours that day and I was trying to teach him how to launch his car LOL ... I dont know who the guy is, but started talking to me ..

they even use that on Ferrari. I have never seen it in person, but if i take a look at it for couple of hours, i'm sure i figuring it out. which control box do you have ? AFR ?

accord not likely... at LACR ? maybe high 16's or 17's...

appriciate the input. i can understand being a little bitter, being that the its a 13 second truck AND can haul/tow things. sounds practical to me?

+1...i think he's bitter because he got an sti and now feels regret because he really wanted an evo too.

i didnt even notice that he drove an sti. he doesnt belong here any more than i do :idiot2: (minus my brother has an evo). OR, maybe hes the sti i embaressed a week or two ago..... :knuppel2:

Bro dont pay attention to any of the haters... Tacomas are awesome trucks... I am gonna grab a TRD Quad cab here soon. I like the Xrunners... good looking trucks... you can save yourself hassles by not referring to the truck and EVO in the same sentence...some dont realize the difference... keep up the good work... and after the way he made an ass of himself walking him wouldnt make a difference...Lol

It looks like someone is going to be really friendly with URD and TRD :). Nice truck. One can't never go wrong with a Toyota.

i speak to URD on almost a daily basis. Very smart group of people. i had the URD supercharger on there they dont make 311 to the wheels stock O0. i will be making a few changes to my setup to say the least............paul@yimisport is a great guy :twisted:
