Hey everyone,

I've just finished setting up a chat room on the site. You can access it by clicking that "chat" button up top. You must have Java runtime installed or your own IRC client like mIRC or Trillian. The server info is located on the chat page.

If you have any questions please ask in here.

So it's been a while since i've used an actual chat room, but when I right click on a name, there's an option to ban + kick... Does that mean I can actually do that or is it just to "vote" for a ban & kick?

What is it saying? Is it blocking the java applet download? Or is the chat room opening but not connecting?

some of them dont even connect ... its probably my lame ass Imac and not having the newest Java script! ...
also (an im well aware its a different software) but this was never an issue when we used to have the old chat room on the older software.. not to sure what it required to use it ...

It's actually the exact same software as before. Just a newer version. Go here and make sure you have the newest java runtime. It should detect which version you need:

http://www.java.com/en/

If you can see the chat program opening but it cant connect it's likely they've blocked port 6667. If you cant even see the chat (red x) then you dont have java or someone's blocking java applets.

Just a reminder that we've had IRC for a few years now for EVO chat. irc.evoporn.com #evo
