We are currently testing ACT new carbon on carbon clutch for the EVO. I don't know what the retail price and how much for replacement parts will be. This suppose to compete against Tilton's carbon/carbon setup, all I know for sure is price is going to be cheaper than the Tilton.

O crap! I posted in the wrong forums. Forgive me.

Gokumooku, swoon bic swoon. 15 more hours and Vegas here I come. Don't worry I will make you that $500 catch-can you been waiting on for months now. And FYI, I don't eat the lunch truck anymore. There's a hole the size of a quarter inside my stomach from eating that stuff.

Oh, that's Ty. That's good. I am due to get a new clutch at RRE in couple of weeks, anyway. So, it is good to get some update.

you dont know anything about carbon clutches do you ? carbon is the best clutch material. the more you slip it the harder it grips. the hotter it gets the harder it grips. CARBON CLUTCHES ARE SOME OF THE BEST STEET CLUTCHES. I personally have a tilton triple disc clutch. It makes a lot of noise due to the loss of my dual mass flywheel and sprgins on the clutch disks but i can slip it all day long. i think in the past 8 months my clutch has only worn about 0.005 of an in. plenty of long life, slippage, and torque capacity (rebuilds are cheap too). only downside is the first initial cost. but if you like to race at the tracks consistently this clutch will be cheaper in the long run. It will pay for itself in a few years (if you plan to keep your car and race your car for that long).

I have this clutch in my Eclipse. By FAR the best clutch I've ever used. VERY streetable. Just an awesome setup.

does this clutch have the "fast shiftness" of the twin and triple exedy clutches? i trust act...

yeah anytime you make a clutch lighter it should shift faster so i would assume so.

finally... i can get something that rre endorses that shifts fast... now all in need is that job defense contractor job.

this clutch will probally be under 3k and cost only 400-600 to rebuild every couple of years. just start saving up now and dont plan to blow out your current clutch anytime soon.
