Buyers who flake.

the classified section needs a list of people who PM, make offers, call and arrange pick-up of parts, only to flake out at the last minute... some just dont even show up.

i've had 3 already on a set of wheels

Sucks but thats fairly typical. When I sold my wheels I had a bunch of PMs, calls etc etc. LOTS of flakes. I make sure that I have a reasonable offer, and then I also make sure that it is known that the first to show with the cash in hand gets the parts. No holding, no waiting...cash talks and thats it.

i list sounds good but then people can just keep making new accounts to pm.
one time i had someone arrange me to buy my stock wheels. i bought them from SD to LA and then when it was time to pay up, he flaked.

there are always going to be flakes. i dont think there's much you can do. and they can always make a new account...since the flakes are most likely not well known on the forums and dont really care about their name on here.
