ooh man, just to install a turbo timer. what kind? do you have the harness?

if you asked, im sure you would have found someone who would've done it for $10, probably for free

for 40 bucks i can do it, but i'll be feeling like I'm scamming you since it is such an easy job.

i say you go to a local meet and ask someone to give you pointers while you do it yourself. if its just a tt w/ no features and you have a harness for it, u just need to tap the e-brake, plug it in and ground it.

wirespeed...go do it for him and just take like $10 and give the rest back...or take it all and tell him to order pizza before you get there and you'll pay for the pizza O0
lol

where in OC are you?

did you see that one guy (mike) with the GG 8 MR and he gave like everyone a ride in hid car and he had a bov that was VTA? he's out little genious mechanic guy. he can help you forsure. but if not, there other guys. just post in the fullerton that you need help with the install and you'll be coming out O0

what A pillar gauge pod did you buy? was it hard to install?

i was thinking about doing the same thing until i can get the radio relocation kit and stuff

bambino10
11-28-2006, 05:53 PM
ahh... aryt... i'll do that... hehe yeah, mike seemed like he really new his stuff... pretty amazing...

i got it from sam at SRTmotorsports... i got it for $60... wasnt hard to install, just had to drill some holes in the original one to get it to hook up properly...

its really the wiring that can be tricky...

thisxguy
11-28-2006, 05:55 PM
drill holes..what do you mean...are you saying that it was NOT a replacement of the stock a-pillar and its an overlay?

bambino10
11-28-2006, 05:58 PM
yup... it wont replace it... its just an overlay... cause the stock one has some portions on it that extend to be able to hang onto the frame...

thisxguy
11-28-2006, 06:56 PM
gay. i was planning on using the a pillar as a temporary gauge pod

ahh... thats what i thought too til i compared the 2 pieces... but i think there's somewhere that you can buy that would replace it completely... but not totally sure about it
