SoW is a better track for beginners... but if you take it easy on HTM, you should be ok.

It'd be recommended to bring some good tires and run some CAMBER! There's lots of elevation change and you'll be banking on the corners so if you run the crappy tires, play around with your tire pressure a bit and you'll get some more grip that you feel comfortable with out of the car

thats what I was thinking aswell I havent ever run that set up but I have seen some videos it seems like plenty of up and downhill sections that will definately put these tires through hell.

The drift group consists of a few 240SXs, a couple AE86s, and at least one Skyline as far as I know.

The grip group consists of my 240SX, a couple/a few Evos, an SW20 MR2, a Mirage Turbo, an e30 325i, an E36 M3, and at least one Elise, as far as I know.

There will be other cars.

Looking forward to this event, Sam. If it's anything like last year's events, it's going to make us all giddy with track time.

I will need your address to mail you the waiver, you are allowed to drive in either group. Just as long as you don't drift in a grip group. We know that sometimes you get a little sideways on a grip event but not acceptable around every corner :)

If you pay through paypal, a reciept is printed for us and we file it ready to confirm at the track. PLEASE PLEASE PRINT OUT YOUR PAYMENT AND BRING IT WITH YOU. Sometimes when you pay out of your bank account with paypal versus a credit card with paypal it waits till the money is cleared before we get it. Then it might not get printed and we would hate to make a mistake at the track when you did really pay. Print and bring your copy :)

They have a pump near the Big Willow Track. And its less than buying race gas somewhere else. I always wait and pump there :)

I may caravan up but won't get on the track. Two reasons one no helmet, two I need to figure out what the deal is with my squeaking brakes. And my 78 is feeling a bit mushy in the suspension department. I may need new rear shocks. Is the meeting place for Burbank still set at 5:00am?

Good event. Not for the faint of heart- and a lot of the BB people have gone to the event before. An 86 flipped and stall0wn3d his car ... Charlie spun his car giving people rides and his bumper got removed ... A D1 Driver's car blew a rod in his S13... And I need an alignment and an oil change.
I drove maybe 4-5 other evos (I ran out of gas and had enough $$$ to get gas to go home lol) ... Thanks to those who gave me an oppourtunity to test thier setup and give my advice ...! Thanks BB Crew!

I ran HTM last summer in my WRX at one of SRT's events. It was cool but the track is a little tight for my tastes. Plus I had all those Evos riding my butt :grin: Can't wait to get the Evo out on the track, hopefully SOW this time 8)

Also A SUPER DUPER SPECIAL THANKS TO Leon for taking me out for the drift lap with his Evo!!!! OMG HE DRIFTED EVERY CORNER TILL WE HAD NOTHING LEFT FOR TIRES, THEN TO TOP IT OFF HE GAVE ME A VICTORY 360 ON A TIGHT LITTLE CORNER PULLING INTO THE NARROW LANE TOWARDS THE PITS, SUPER SUPER PERFECTION WITH HIS DRIVING. ANGLES SO CRAZY I THOUGH WE WOULD LOOP AROUND BUT NO!!!!! THIS CAR PULLED OUT LIKE NOTHING!!! Thank you again.

I have one request, if possible please upload your videos of the track on youtube under SRT Motorsports or SRT Trackdays so we can share this with everyone. Don't be shy to give yourself some credits on that website by adding your name for the search engine :)
