View Full Version : Race gas in San Diego
Any other places besides Cosby Oil and the gas station off of Mollison? I just went to Mollison and they upped the price from $6/gal for 110 leaded to $7/gal for 100 unleaded. I also want to buy one of those containers but they wanted $40 for those. Getting really expensive.

yeah i agree... I believe there is a place in Kearny Mesa off convoy that will order VP fuel... I will look up the info. I was also pissed that they upped the price for shittier gas, especially since i was tuned on the 110 leaded.

I just called and they have a few cans of 110 leaded in stock, but they are $55/a piece. C16 is also in stock for $70/can.
I really think we may need to start considering having 55-gal drums shipped directly to our garages because this is not only really inconvenient, but outrageously expensive.

5gal is a "can", 55gal is considered a "drum"
In other words, we're looking at $11/gal for 110 leaded or $14/gal for C16..... :-o

damn those cans are expensive
The place out east sells 110 leaded for 50 a can. Still that is 10 bucks a gal. You still need the jug so you can pour the gas into then pour it into your car.

You guys pay for the Uhaul I can bring out 104 110 C16.... Tenn its pretty damn cheap... Last time I checked about 2.5 months ago was like 3.20
How much does it equal to though? Uhaul charges by miles so it still sounds like it might end up around the same cost.

i have a 55 gallon drum of sunnoco race fuel. 118 octane. you guys can try Group 5 motorsport in miramar they sell vp racing fuel and also you can try cosby oil. thats where i bought my 55 gallon drum. if your just looking for a few gallons pm me ill sell you some at a decent price. probally 8-10 dollars a gallon.
I would prefer to get the highest non leaded gas I can get, but I will take leaded if I can.
