Modified Exhaust Question

Hi guys, I am thinking about getting the Espelir JGT500 Exhaust for my IX. Â*When I read the exhaust description, it says that this exhaust is street legal, and it comes with a certificate too. Â*So my question is if I do get pull over by cops for modified exhaust, would I get away with it by showing them the street legal certificate or I would still get busted? Â*Thanks.

depends on the cop actually. some wont give a damn about any paperwork you show them and you'll get a fix it ticket anyway.

Yea cops really dont care, but fix it tickets are cheap anyways there just annoying

i bought this exhaust.. and i dont remember seeing any certificate in the package.

but its true that cops really dont care.

i have this exhaust and its nice. best tone ive heard. havent been pulled over once, or even looked at. and im running full TBE

Cops will write the ticket regardless if its legal or not. The cop will just leave it up to the ref/court system to decide if it is indeed legal or not.
