we couldnt go because we had to get out of work late, we want to go up to the mountains or desert to have fun in snow, I got myself, my buddy jesse i met from a meet (really good guy) and my buddy michael which are all evo owners, and a wrx all cool people looking to chill with others to hang out in the snow test our vehicle in snow with ADVANS :-X maybe those guys up there can show us some stuff around town. can those of you who are interested come up with us? it sure would be nice!!!

Advans are super scary to drive in cold/snow conditions. Be EXTREMELY CAREFUL!

DO NOT trust stock Advans in the snow! You have been warned twice now. Alex was just up there and saw a brand new Evo IX smashed against the mountain side. AWD does not guarantee safety.

Yikes, who's IX at the dust? OEM Advans are not designed to work below a certain temperature and i'm sure anything below freezing and you'll have a lot less traction. Have ice/snow on the road and you will have zero traction.

Yep, on the way back from big bear it was pretty scary. Saw the black evo9 mr on the oppsite side of the road. Felt sorry for the guy. One of his wheels looked cracked Saw 3 other people wreck there cars. Front wheel drive car's were spinning there tires not going anywhere, and rear wheel drive cars. My abs was kicking in everytime I hit the brakes. I need some snow tires.

I second that Ryukyu, i live in the hi-desert 5-10 from mtÂ* high evry morning(4 am about 40 -50 degrees my ADvans feel very bumpy like vibrationÂ* until they get up to operating temp., be careful brothas i nearly give my wife a hard attack on sat. lol, by the way guys we didnt get enough snow to stick here in the desert:( yeah ruined my sunday morning dreams too! i dont know of any spots to play in the snow up here execpt mt high parking lots O0 :grin:

Last year when it snowed in Lancaster I was forced to try my new Advans in snow and I will provide person testimony... They are scary to drive with... Food for thought, take it easy up there.
