hi all,

hope i'm posting this in the correct forum...

but if i have a car, in my case an Evo 9, that's paid off, and i were to move to Europe, would my car be streetlegal?
would it conform to E-spec standards?

where would i be able to find out about this?

thanx ahead of time for all the help

Wouldn't it depend on the country?

You should ask this guy, seems like he took his 8 to germany

im stationed in england right now and all you need is your head lights to be tweaked so they point more towards the right. also you'll need to put a fog light in the back which you could buy and let it hang right under you bumper or get a euro spec IX bumper with a built in fog light. i believe there's also something to do with you parking lights in the front...sorry i forgot. :-\ M.O.T. and and road tax is a B!tch though.

here's a site that'll give you a few pointers (for the U.K. anyway - youl'll find each country in europe may have slightly different things you'll need to do.. taxes, physical changes etc..)- might be doing the same myself soon.

good luck

I am stationed in Germany but realize each european country is different. Â*You can google info on each country. Â*You have to consider noise, emissions, tax, registration (is it legal to bring into the country), and the biggest is insurance. Â*

Please post back if you are military. Â*If you are, you should contact your sponsor if you can. Â*You can also check the base website on additional info.
