Sigh.

This has been covered in about 50 threads so far, but I'll post the info that we know...again.

**Slated release date: March 2008. Â*It is a 2009 model year car, not a 2008 model year car.**

Currently, the EVO X is slated to be a 2.0l turbo. Â*However, THE EVO X WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE A 4G63.

Currently, the EVO X is slated to be released with three transmission options:
1- A tradition manual transmission (unknown if it will be a 5spd or a 6spd)
2- A "sportronic" automatic/manual hybrid.
3- The new DSG manual transmission. Â*This is a manual transmission without a clutch pedal, shifting via paddles, but make no mistake...this is NOT your typical twatomatic chicktronic slushbox. Â*Serious, serious tranny here folks. Â*I'm not going to get too into this, send Neil a pm if you need an explanation. Â*

The vehicle should make around 300 or so horsepwer, but it's doubtful that it will be above the 350 mark.

The exterior of the car will look VERY much like the concept car that all of you have seen with some minor post prototype changes.

There's a few more things we know for sure about the car, but what I posted above answers the OP and takes care of the misinformation posted as well.
