Tuner shops in SD?

Hey,
I'm a newbie to SD and was wondering if there were any tuner shops around that has knowledge of our cars? Question raised, because I would ideally like to have my car tuned rather than having a mail-in flash. This is for future purposes, as I only got my car recently and am still in the engine break-in period. If there isn't, is the closest tuner shop in L.A.?

for tuning purposes you'd be driving up towards L.A. There's quite a few guys that do tuning. you have tuning tech, cspec, drgray, RRE for work on your car. just perform a search for tuning those names will pop up. wait till you break in your car and get some stage 1 mods.

I know of a tuner in San Marcos. I believe he tuned his own 850whp Evo and he daily drives it for quite some time now. Send me a PM if you want his number.

aem or just s-afc ? as long as you have a wideband you can more than likely do it yourself. you just have to know what to monitor and the limits.

There is a new shop in SD called High End Performance.Â* They started in Ventura and just opened another one here in SD.Â* They are having a dynoday the end of Feb.Â* It is $100 for 3 pulls and then $50 more for tuning.Â* The tuner used to work for AEM.Â* The reason I know this is because I went by yesterday and talked to them.
