Silver Evo Owner, watch out

lately i got pull over 2 times in 3 days, and my buddy got pull over today. Both of us driving Silver Evo 8. I got pull over when i was driving 35 mph ( 45 mph zone ) near Diamond Bar. My buddy got pull over when he was driving 40 mph (45 mph zone ) near baldwin park. If you driving a Silver Evo in socal, watch out for cop. Me and my buddy dont' have crazy bodykit or driving recklessly on local street.

What was the probable cause of you getting pulled over? Exhaust? Tint? No front plate?
I think it's all Evos in general. I used to get pulled over for doing the speed limit too, while the suv next to me was doing double what I was driving.

First time i have my exhaust on. Later that evening i swap my stock exhaust and remove my wing and i got pull over again the next days in Costa Mesa

Maybe a Silver Evo report was stolen or someone in Silver Evo outrun a CHP

that's stupid...but then again, you're driving slower than other cars which might make the cop wonder why you're so slow and cautious. wingless shows that you're "trying" to hide something...causing you to be pulled over. those are 2 things i've noticed.

i drive speed limit, sometime even a little more. but the way i daily drive doesnt give cops any reason to pull me over. maybe on the freeway since i'm going 63ish mph...that's me trying to stay out of 3k rpm so mivec stays off so i can save some gas. LOL

Did he ticket you or just harass you. If so what were the violations?

The CHP didn't look under my car. i shut off my engine when i stop. I have High Flow Cat (look very similar to stock cat) Mod. smog device 27156(b) apply to any modification to the engine, like Intake, BOV, shinny IC pipe, Injector, Boost Controller... etc...

he didn't get on the ground to look under it. He pop my hood to look. He found my Apexi Intake, and Oil catch tanks.

the CHP can give u a citation of 27156(b) if he thinks your car is illegal modified. I have to go state referee for check up.

He asked me of what it is, i told them it filter out the oil. he gave me the "whatever" look.

The funny part is, he saw my tires pressure gauge on my passenger seat. he picks it up and ask me what i'm using this for. lol...

yes cops are just a bunch of booring men, sorry to say.
part of the reasons IMO is because lots of KIDZ start some street racing or something in LA so EVO is highly SPOTTED just like the old INTERGRA/CIVIC ERA. Yes i was once of this who got pull over w/ no reason when i was 17. now it's happen again when I am 28...WTF.....
