sound? must be recirculating, if you want sound form your bov then vta.

so you judge the "strength" of a blow off valve by the sound??? how do you know your rs is blowing open? maybe you should put a kazoo on your recirc fitting to get a stronger sound.

haha I'm your age to. I have the rs and it barley made noise until I put the drop in filter and it made noise but if you want that hardcore blow off make it vta but like they say you will run into problems or go with the GFB bov it's vta and recirculates O0 but an intake will make it louder or a drop in filter.

greddy rs is not weaker than the mr bov... the thing about greddy rs is an issue with it not holding boost at higher psi... the mr is made to hold boost for a few seconds.. and then it starts to bleed its self off... as a way to recirculate.... the greddy rs has to be able to do the same thing or be made into a vta where it will hold boost until you let go of the gas...

when you say "weak".... i think you may be asking the question as to how can you get a louder bov and still have it recirculating......

as someone said.. the easiest way is to get a free flowing drop-in air filter... or get a greddy rs and do a vta setup....

in the evo community, u'll get flamed badly for wanting the rice 'woosh' so badly but hey each his own. i cant remember offhand but theres a few bov out there that recirculates and release to atmosphere so stalling issue is less common. now boost holding capability, thats another topic all-together

The RS does recirc :uglystupid2: and i run the GFB BOV, 2 clicks away from fully open so I get the loudest whooooooossssssshhhhhh in tha world because I am rice a roni! come 'on people flame me O0
