because we don't want our members getting ripped off by spammers. we don't want this site to be whored for money. we want people here to have a safe commnity that is fun and friendly. well the latter is prolly just an idealization. i can't stand stupid people... so to add to that idealization i add that 'we' don't want stupid people here.
