Customer Andy S. (Screename needed) came in with with a somewhat typical stage 1+ Evo 8. He is a drag racer and trusted Alfred enough let him bypass his SAFC and go for a pure, custom ECUFlash on 110 octane leaded. His other mods were MBC, cams, full exhaust, Greddy V-Spec intercooler with piping, and an Evo 9 turbo.
The customer left really happy with a car that will easily run high 11 second times in the 1/4 above 115 miles per hour. Congrats Andy!
387whp, 357wtq: what a beautiful powerband.

I'd give more details if I had them. Give it a few days and we'll get the whole story.

Alfred or Smoggy: Any guess as to how much more hp/tq the IX turbo accounts for in this setup vs. a 10.5 VIII?

We ended up with 25.2 lbs boost, RRE rally cat, HKS 272s set at -2/-2, besides that all of the basic bolt-ons...
The car pulls well through to redline and the powerband feels different than on the SAFC, much more constant and not so much of a "light-switch" feeling.

Thanks Smoggy, the experience at T T was top notch.Â* I felt very comfortable with the tune since Alfred explained everything in detail and left it up to me as to which route and how far I wanted to go.Â* In the end the chart looked great and the AFRs and EGTs were excellent.Â* Thank you Alfred and T T, hope to see you at the track this weekend!

Not sure on the #s, but the 9 turbo is more efficient than the 8 10.5 and tends to hold boost longer.
