You guy's @ TT see a lot of evo's, so what are some of the strongest 91 octane numbers have you seen roll across your dyno on a 2.0L, stock head engine while utilizing a stock / stock-ish turbo on a non-mivec powered car?

you sir! are one of them... check out the dyno data base that smoggy has posted on IXs and viii's... away from Mr. Birdie havent seen many evos touch those #s (in the 360whp + on 91 octane)

Thanks goku-

smoggies db's are primarily of 100+ octane pulls.

Besides, i would really like to run my dirty, low-winged, double baby seated evo across TT's dyno to see for certain.

Next time she'll be sporting some hks 280's & 880cc injectors

i recently learned that see speck put down 365. he has 272's, evo 9 turbo, 3" exh w/tp, fmic & a WR intake manifold. The new WR mani gave him +20whp! Not sure where he was dyno'd.

FP turbo on socal 91 octane = 376 @ TT by mr birdie (That wont last long when he puts on the vrs intake & tb, 405-410?)

evo 9 turbo on socal 91 octane = 365whp / yellow car

evo 8 turbo on socal 91 octane = 363whp / WOT

What are Evo 8's putting down with this FP Green turbo usually with most bolt ons on 91?

Pd1 is the only person i have heard of with such combo, if i remeber correctly, he put down ~350ish @ TT. Not sure of all his mods @ the time.

Well lets just say this turbo is great. My car just put down 400awhp and 362awtq at 21psi tapering to 19 on straight PUMP GAS ONLY. The spool is near stock but it pulls like a train. I am very happy with this and want to thank Robert from Forced Performance for such a great product, his turbos never disappointed me and always produced great numbers. The car has more in it so more numbers to come in the near future. The car is 03 with a new bottom end(crower/weisco), aem ems, 3.5 turboback, 02 housing, IC with piping+ tial, hks 280's + cam gears. If there is people in my area who want to be personally convinced let me know and we'll go for a ride, bring change for gas haha.

Aby, If i get any near that power mark. I think i'll pass out. 400whp was my main goal =P. How much gain can you get from a intake manifold?

This guy's results were achieved with 93 octane. 91 octane is on the east coast is different than our 91 octane.

Not even close to a fair compare

Abby, I think you should dyno your setup as you currently have it at TT, then do the mods and then dyno again at Yimi and TT. That way, you'll have a better understanding of how much off the two dynos are to each other.

TT is the socal bench mark dyno. That is why i want to get dyno there as well.

i currently have 280's & new injectors in the car now. I will get it dyno'd @ both places on the same day once i sort out my tune.

i will take paypal donations if anyone wants to contribute to help pay for such a dyno test!

if i dont do the test, i will refund all donations.

i have a buddy of mine put down ~20 whp less @ yimi's than what was done @ TT on the same cal file, fuel & boost level. 2 completely different days however.

It would be nice to be able to have some dyno correlation data for socalevo consumers O0
