Why is there so many cops on the freeways today...?

today i took my girlfriend to work and seen like 6 CHP cars and 3 CHP bikes... all of them were on the 55 freeway ...anyone else notice this...? becareful out there....

When I was on my way to work I noticed 1 CHP on the 22 fwy. and 2 CHP on the 55 fwy. Fortunately for me they were in the process of pulling people over... Keep your eyes peeled if you take these freeways today.

One word, "REVENUE". It's easy money for the area that they are in and most of the time the person pulled over isn't going to shoot at you.

Which would you rather do? A domestic disturbance or write a speeding ticket? Pretty easy choice.

People have been driving around 80mph lately and CHP decided to do something about it. Â*They are on crackdown mode right now.

hmmm.. i havent seen any cops on the freeway today. took the 405, 55 and 5 from HB down to irvine. only seen one cop today, and that was right before i got onto the 405.

but thanks for the heads up, ill try to keep it down at speed limit

Just was in Glendale during my lunch break and saw 5 cops all with someone pulled over! (1 was an accident), Â*I think I'll drive the beater tomorrow

I saw 4 people get pulled over on my drive from SD to LA. There was even one bike popo under a freeway underpass standing in the dark pointing a radar gun at cars driving by on the 405... It scared the shit outta me because it was nearly impossible to see until you had already passed him.

On another note, while I was in traffic court today.. some dude got a $1800 fine, point on record + 3 month suspension for driving 115mph on the 5. Please drive safely all...
