Ok I am just wondering when the staff was planning on updating the 2.5 year old members ride and Evo test drive on the opening page.... there are so many things that could fill those slots and get Dustins car off of their it dont look like that anymore and we dont like him anymore... just s thought...

the front page needs to be updated, but I'm sure Rob is busy with school at the moment. or has decided to abandoned ship for a moment LOL

We're currently working on SoCalEvo 3.0. It's likely this site's front page wont be updated before the launch of 3.0. It will feature a blog style front page popular with many sites today. It will be similar to autoblog.com.

Socalevo 3.0 should revert to the old appearance of socalevo 1.0...autoblog looks like crap IMO. Don't make changes just cause they are "the popular thing to do". Put a poll with some examples for the members to review. It is, afterall, the site THEY will be looking at 1,500 times a day. Just a thought.

Dude, SoCalEvo 1.0 was brutal to navigate. It was hands down one of my least favorite forum setups in history.

2.0 is a MAJOR improvement.

But I will +1 to the "down with the Autoblog conversion" comment.

Well, at least we agree on something rofl. Yeah, yeah, yeah 1.0 was kinda harsh and 2.0 is an improvement...I'll concede that. I'd just like to have it put to the members for input before implementation if at all possible.
