thinking of getting a new phone, what do you guys think? what feedback has been posted on this phone? any ideas if this thing will have something similar to what the pocket pc phones have, like windows media player that allows wmv. (?)

i dont really care for the iphone...
i have a touch screen phone and im trying to get away from that.. this phone (referring to the blackberry) seems to have everything and a pretty easy way of navigation through the phone. which is something im looking for.. i also remember seeing Rob's phone(coolguy949) forgot the model # though ...

I just got the Blackberry Pearl and I like it..... sorta :roll:

There are 2 versions: indigo and crimson. The indigo is being released first by cingular. It is neutered: no wifi no camera. What you want is the version named crimson aka 8820. It has wifi and a camera. You should be able order an unlocked one soon though and not wait for cingular to milk folks with the weaker model, only to roll out the 2nd one in may.

yeah i have seen the 8820 unlocked version already, just need to find out how much that thing will cost
