On the bright side, Blueray is selling more than HD-DVD. Oh right, 60-70k a week world wide is pretty good compared to the millions of just one DVD movie that comes out Tuesdays.

I think any video game system that costs above $500.00 for just the console is ridiculous. Remember the days of Atari????? That was some good shit.

I guess history repeats itself. Say Hello to PS3 AKA the son of NeoGeo. The 360 is still out of my price range. Not that it doesnt have games, not because I cant afford it. Its because at that price I am happier with updating my computer and playing games on that on top of everything else.

Also if I pop for several hundred dollars, I better be entitled to a lot more flexibility. I like my computer for the flexibility it has. If I have a console that costs that much I better be able to mod it as I like. They have a closed system setup to milk cash, but not to make gamers happy. Fuck 'em. I'll buy it when I see something thats worthwhile... Right now my computer and my PS2 are all I want or need. Guitar Hero 1 and 2 are games I just got and I have more fun with that, then a lot of games I have seen for PS3 and 360. Wii is a definite addition that will happen here. We'll see about the other 2...Probably when they release 2nd gen consoles that are cheaper and have more features.... We will see.
