Even worse. It was him in a Dodge minivan owning me.... We talked at the bottom of the canyon and he said his other car thats dead right now is the rx-7..... He had all the driving lines down and I was just blindly charging through the canyon roads just trying to catch up before he dissapeared in front of me... -_-.. At most I was able to catch up at least 1 car behind until he started pulling on the turns... The mini van was half drifting / half sliding through each turn...

My tires were chirping -_-"

Found out that he used to attend a lot of track events and even drifted until it got too expensive.

I'm just amazed at how driving lines can make such a big difference.

this was done during the day or night?Â* I actually feel night is safer as you can drive your "lines" and look for oncoming headlights.

Stock suspension caravan?..are you serious?Â* have you driven in a canyon before?..just a little hard to believe

and why would you admit this?!!Â* Â*:-o

lol, ok, I guess he knew the road like the back of his hand, stock tires on the caravan?Â* My parents had a grand caravan back in the day...canyon running that....sheesh

just don't shame the honor of the EVO,Â* we don't want to hear about some yahoo on the caravan site saying how he killed an EVO..

damn!!!!!

+1

i give you props for taking the lost like a man...better yet you stayed within your limits and made it down the canyon in one piece...hence you didn't' jack up the insurance rate for the rest of us

the other guy had bigger balls to drive and drift his POS van and probably could care less if he wrecked it

I hope you realize though (OP), that driving at the track and driving in the canyons are two different thing...that is unless the driver doesn't care about oppossing traffic.
